Cracow Saltworks Museum in Wieliczka is one of the largest mining museums in Europe. It poses exhibitions in the medieval Saltworks Castle and in the historic Salt Mine, where you can admire unique mining machines, minerals, works of art and beautiful chambers.

Situated near the city of Krakow in southern Poland, the Wieliczka Salt Mine is a bewildering labyrinth with infinite corridors, tunnels, walkways and chambers. It is a huge empire with 2500 chambers, nine levels of mining and galleries that run for 245 kilometres till a depth of 327 metres.
