Your 10-digit Audi vehicle code is typically found in the vehicle's documentation folder provided at delivery. This code is essential for activating Audi connect services and is usually located on a transparent plastic card in the glovebox - scratch off the coating to reveal the code.

When trying to set up Audi connect, it asks for the 10 digit code which would have been supplied with the car when it was sold from new. However, as I bought the car second hand, I don't have this code. Is it a simple task to get this code, or do I have to contact an Audi dealer?

UDI stands for Unique Device Identification, a distinct numeric or alphanumeric code used to identify medical devices throughout healthcare supply chains. These codes are generated by product owners based on globally accepted standards for device identification.

The unique device identification (UDI) is a unique numeric or alphanumeric code related to a medical device. It allows for a clear and unambiguous identification of specific devices on the market and facilitates their traceability.

The GS1 UDI barcode combines the Device Identifier (DI), also known as the GTIN by GS1.org, and the Production Identifier (PI).

What information does a UDI barcode contain? A UDI can be divided into a Device Identifier, containing manufacturer and general device information, and a Production Identifier, that provides device-specific information.

We are currently integrating the new UDI code on our labels as part of the Unique Device Identification (UDI) System. UDIs are required only in the United States so far, but will become mandatory in Europe when the new IVDR comes into effect.
