Lindelof is a hider, so his rating is low while generally his partner does most of the actual defensive work This is not really true though, this myth that Lindelof hides is very similar to that of Mctominay. Lindelof doesn't dive into challenges, and it's clear he's more of a ball player than a tackler, but he definitely doesn't hide.

Wasn't keen on the signing but fair play he's been really good for us in the minutes he's played. Bogarde has been really poor in last two months and Onana frequently injured so we needed him to fill in professionally at DM and he did that brilliantly in Europa.

Obviously Lindelof was absolutely terrible in his first season and fairly poor in his last two, but the five years in between were better than most on here make out. Not good enough to be a starter for a team going for a title, but he was hardly the huge weakness that some people talk about.

Lindelof played a lot of CB for Villa this season and was very consistent there as well. Kind of annoying tbh. But much less pressure playing for Villa than United tbf. fotmob has him as a 6.49, whoscored has him as 6.41 He mostly played while we took over them and they had poor league form fotmob has Yoro at 6.68, whoscored has him as 6.6
